Active School Flag week takes place on Tuesday 5th of June to Friday 8th June 2012. The committee have been working hard to promote physical activity throughout the school with regular meetings to reflect on current practice and promote participation in physical activity for all. We have already implemented a sport box at break and lunch times for the use on junior and senior yards, to assist with games as well as having ideas readily available for staff use. The Active School Flag Week is the next step in the process and will promote activity for all throughout the week as well as the regular aquatics and horse riding sessions.
Tuesday – Surfing for senior students and a wheel chair walk
Wednesday – Whole school beach walk @ Rosses Point
Thursday– Cycle train
Friday – Jersey day, School activity day and Active School Flag Assembly.
