St Cecilia’s Green School Committee organised a day of action for Friday 16th March. We had a great day. The weather was lovely. In the morning some staff parked their cars and walked to school – park ‘n stride and the rest car pooled. At 11.15 am we had a walking train around Wisdom Services. Everyone enjoyed it. In the afternoon Felix our Chairperson organised Travel Art and students from every class participated. Then we had Assembly and Pink Class gave a dramatic presentation on how to safely cross the road. It was really good. We had three gardaí present to give certificates of participation to every child in the school. Some lucky students got to sit in the patrol car and turn on the siren and flashing lights. It was a great day.
