Our Communication and Language lesson has an added ingredient recently when Green Class went on a sensory picnic. We went to Hazelwood to read our class poem about Goldilocks and the 3 bears. We enjoyed listening to the story in a different environment and trying the different types of porridge, just as Goldilocks did in the story. Gareth particularly enjoyed the hot porridge on a cold morning in January, while Garbhan could not get enough of the cold porridge. So if you go down to the woods today you will believe your eyes when you see Green Class enjoying another sensory picnic.
