Students were delighted to participate in Special Olympics, Athletics event at Sligo I.T. recently. We had great success after all our hard training with the students from Sligo Grammer School. Congratulations to Jack who won a gold medal in the 25m wheelchair, Jake who won silver in the 25m run, Niall who won silver in the 10m assisted walk, Joseph winning a bronze medal just beating Patrick into 4th same event. Garbhán received a 5th place in the 25m walk and Shane who got a participation medal.
We are all looking forward to more events next year.
